I have two children of my own, Grace, 18, and Evan, 15, and my wonderful partner-in-crime, Will, has a 13-year-old daughter, Briley. This blended family sets my heart on fire. They each accent my life in specific ways and lend to my ability to bring so much joy, enthusiasm, and support to everyone I encounter. My approach to my work family is very much the same; always letting compassion, empathy, understanding, and integrity guide me.

We all encounter uphill battles in life; in my case, this has been both figurative and literal. In the same way that I prepare for a 25-mile hike on rocky terrain, in life I look to my strengths to persevere. I dig in my heels, reflect on my growth, rely on my capabilities, and push forward, one step after the other, knowing that the view from the top is simply sweeter.
